How to update your PHILHEALTH membership from formal to informal economy

If you are pregnant and already resigned from your job, like me, and may wish to continue paying your PHILHEALTH contribution, you may follow these steps for updating your membership.

1. Download the PMRF revised form online or click this link https://www.philhealth.gov.ph/downloads/membership/pmrf_revised.pdf

2. Make sure that you check or tick the box FOR UPDATING on the upper right-hand corner of the form and complete other necessary information.

3. Depending on your case, you may need to submit other requirements:

3.1. For pregnant women: Photocopy of Ultrasound and 2400 pesos (this is for a year of payment)
3.2. For OFW: Working Visa/Job Contract and 2400 pesos

4. Go to the nearest PHILHEALTH Local Health Insurance Office for the form submission and other requirements needed.

Please take note that for updates, you need to go to their LHI Office instead of their Express Office which is usually in malls as I was advised they don't do updates there. I opted to go first to their SM North Office but I was advised as such. Please see lists of Philhealth branches below.

Below is my receipt for my July 2018 to March 2019 voluntary payments. I did not pay 2400 pesos since I am employed from January to June of this year. I had to pay in advance since I will give birth in January 2019.

Online stores thru Shopee Philippines

We are now in the last quarter of the year 2018. If you are in the Philippines, you all know that Christmas starts in September, with all the sales in Malls and online stores. And since Ber months na, you already know how frustrating is the traffic in Metro Manila. Because of that, I'd rather pay for the shipping fee than shop in the mall and be stuck in traffic for hours.
So, let me start my blog with some of the legit online stores that I have been purchasing with. Let me note that I am not affiliated nor this post is a sponsored blog. I would just like to share some online stores that you can try.  These are some of the online stores in Shopee Philippines.

1. TickledBum
You can buy Bath & Body Works products here by the bulk (wholesale price). They also sell Plant Therapy oils if you are into essential oils made in USA.

2. Makeupholics
Seller of beauty products from Australia, Korea, Japan, and US. Bought the Nature Republic Aloe Gel tub for 199 pesos only.
3. Shopping Partners (ChingChua)
Mostly sells Korean skincare and US products. Bought Korean facemasks here as they are cheap.
4. Puritan's Pride Philippines
The exclusive distributor of vitamins and health supplements of Puritan's Pride USA. This is the store where I usually buy my vitamin C with rose hips.
5. Unisilver Time
If you want cheap but good quality watches, you may try to check their products. I usually buy here if I need something to be gifted. A watch as cheap as 299 pesos, who wouldn't buy that?
This Christmas season, hoping that you could find something worth buying for your loved ones without the hassle of going to the malls. If you have some online stores where you buy stuff, please share in the comment section. I would love to check them out too.

Starting a new journey

Hello again, world! It has been 5 years since I write on my blog. There were rough years and happy years that had gone through and I would love to share them with you. The hurts, the pains, the disappointments, the joy, the laughter, the hope and love that I had experienced. Surely enough, good thing we have friends and families who are there for us anytime we need them.
So this post is not that long. It was just to greet everyone hello! Hoping that you will find some interesting post on this blog. Aja!
